The NFL Concussion Settlement originated from a 2015 agreement in which the NFL committed to compensating former players who developed brain diseases or dementia linked to concussions.
Retired NFL players who have joined the NFL Concussion Settlement can access a neuropsychological assessment through the Baseline Assessment Program (BAP). This free program provides baseline neurological and neuropsychological exams to determine if a retired player has a neurocognitive impairment.
For retired NFL players participating in the Monetary Award Fund (MAF) Program, please contact us directly at 302-215-3255 to schedule an appointment for a neuropsychological evaluation in Delaware after receiving a referral from a Qualified MAF Physician.
